International students visit Mekong Delta in Jan 04, 2020

On 04 Jan 2020, Labor Relations and Trade Unions Faculty organizes a tour to the Mekong Delta for lecturers and students of Cornell University and Ton Duc Thang University to have better understand about Vietnam’s culture. During this trip, students travel by boat cruise on the Tien River, float by 4 islands namely Phoenix, Unicorn, Dragon and Tortoise and discover village life and local industry. 
At Ben Tre, lecturers and students visit families who make their living from creating coconut candy, see the entire process and taste the final product. Later, they enjoy the fresh fruit and honey tea in the garden with the background of Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by locals.
