Ton Duc Thang University Welcomes the Delegation from the People’s Police Academy for a Working Session

On April 28, 2025, during a business trip to attend the parade commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification in Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation from the People’s Police Academy, led by Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chu Van Dung – Vice President of the Academy, paid a visit and held a working session with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Welcoming and working with the delegation on behalf of TDTU were Dr. Tran Trong Dao – President of TDTU, members of the University Presidential Board, and representatives from various Departments, Faculties, and Centers of the University.

The delegation toured the facilities and learning environment of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and held a working session with the University Presidential Board and leaders of various units.

At the working session, Dr. Tran Trong Dao – President of TDTU – expressed his desire to establish a cooperative relationship with the People’s Police Academy in order to further expand connections with higher education institutions nationwide in general, and particularly within the police sector.

On behalf of the delegation, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chu Van Dung expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from TDTU and highly praised the University’s humane and ideal educational environment for students. The Academy’s leadership also agreed on the importance of establishing a cooperative relationship between the two institutions. In particular, after visiting TDTU’s library and modern digital learning system, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chu Van Dung noted that these facilities provide favorable conditions for both sides to promote collaboration in academic and research activities.
