Ton Duc Thang University Welcomed and Collaborated with the Delegation from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology

Representatives from TDTU including Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau - Vice President, and leaders from several Departments and the Inspire Library welcomed and worked with the delegation.

The delegation went on a tour of Inspire Library, the Vietnam - Finland International School, and the Sports Complex/ Stadium, and had a working session with the Presidential Board and some units within TDTU.

In his remarks during the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, Director of PTIT, provided an overview of the history and development of PTIT, expressing admiration for the facilities and extending gratitude for the warm hospitality and friendliness of the University. Additionally, he expressed a desire for TDTU to share experiences in the fields of information technology education, scientific research, and international cooperation.

During the exchange at the working session, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of TDTU, expressed appreciation for PTIT’s interest. At the same time, he shared the formation and development process of TDTU, the University’s management culture, and its autonomy. He highlighted the current achievements of the University, attributing them to the unity, effort, spirit of devotion, dedication, and creativity of the entire staff members of the University. In addition, the TDTU Presidential Board also discussed the University’s development goals, information technology education, scientific research, and international cooperation. There was a mutual desire for a cooperation signing ceremony between the two institutions to exchange experiences and jointly promote research and education.

PTIT is part of the Ministry of Information and Communications. As a key training and research institution in the field of Information Technology and Telecommunications in Vietnam, PTIT holds a pivotal position as a national university. Recognized for its achievements in the integration of research, education, and business production, PTIT plays a leading role in the Information and Communication Technology sector in Vietnam.
