Short-term Course titled "Impact of the COVID-19 on Vietnam" for Students of La Trobe University and Ton Duc Thang University.

From November 20 to December 1, 2023, Ton Duc Thang University in collaboration with La Trobe University, Australia, organized a short-term course titled "Impact of the COVID-19 on Vietnam" for students of La Trobe University and Ton Duc Thang University. Lecturers and students of Faculty of Labour Relations and Trade Unions and Faculty of Pharmacy join in teaching and studying with students of La Trobe University.

This course aims to help students accumulate knowledge and practical experiences regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, its impacts on various aspects of Vietnam such as public health, healthcare system, labour relations, employment situation, teamwork skills, etc. Additionally, it provides students with the opportunity to interact with peers from different countries around the world, enhancing their confidence and language proficiency, serving the internationalization goals of the University. Furthermore, students will gain practical experience through specialized classes, group research reports, and field trips to companies, such as Saigontourist Travel Service Company.

Moreover, the course creates opportunities for students from both universities to exchange and learn about each other's culture, country, and learning environment.
