Workshop "Collective Bargaining in the context of implementing new Vietnam Labor Code 2019: Experiences from different countries in the world" session 2 on May 26th, 2022
On the morning of May 26, 2022, the Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Union, Ton Duc Thang University held the second session of the seminar with topic: "Collective Bargaining in the context of implementing new Vietnam Labor Code 2019: Experiences from different countries in the world”.
The seminar was attended by Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa, Dean of Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Union, Ton Duc Thang University and all lecturers of Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Union, experts including Dr. Michael Mauer - Senior Labor Advisor, American Association of University Professors, Janet Gillman - State Conciliator, Employment Relations Board, Roland N. Goff - Director of Strategic Campaigns, Massachusetts Nurses Association with lecturers from Nanhua University and students.
During the seminar, experts presented a total of 3 discussions on the following topics: Oregon’s bargaining law and how mediation works within this legal framework, interest-based bargaining techniques in USA, Health care bargaining in the USA under the NLRA, Labor Contract Negotiations in the United States: Process and Politics. The Faculty will synthesize the content of the seminar to implement the topic "Collective bargaining in the context of changing Vietnam Labor Code 2019".
