Online course on the topic: "Taiwan’s culture and skills in Labor Relations" with Nanhua University, Taiwan from 23/11/2020 to 01/02/2021
From 23/11/2020 to 01/02/2021, the Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Unions, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) collaborated with Nanhua University, Taiwan to organize an online course on the topic: "Taiwan’s culture and skills in Labor Relations” for 91 students of the Faculty during 8 sessions with the participation of lecturers from Nanhua University.
Through the course with lecturers from Taiwan University, students are equipped with: (i) Knowledge and skills on Industrial Relations; (ii) Multinational cultural integration and understanding-opportunities and challenges; (iii) Soft skills such as communication, leadership, negotiation; (iv) Introducing career opportunities, graduate study for students in Taiwan; (v) Training students in basic Chinese pronunciation, grammar and communication; and (vi) Marketing in Industry 4.0 period; Sustainable development strategy; and Management strategies in the Industry 4.0 period.
In addition, students of the Faculty were introduced to the Taiwan’s culture, history, and traditional cuisine, and visited a number of production companies with effective marketing strategies and sustainable development in Dai Lam Industrial Park, Taiwan and learned about Taiwanese folk games through screen travel videos from Nanhua University. The course includes a lesson on Mindfulness Meditation, which helps students practice to relieve stress and fatigue after studying period.
All 91 students completed the course in 8 sessions and received Certificates of merit from Nanhua University.
